What LottaPaws is

LottaPaws is a free catalogue and collection tracker for Sylvanian Families and Calico Critters. It's built and maintained independently and has no affiliation with Epoch Co., Ltd. or TOMY.

The catalogue is community-maintained and provided in good faith. We do our best to keep it accurate, but we can't guarantee it's complete or error-free. Release dates, regional names, and set contents can vary and change.

The iOS app

LottaPaws doesn't require an account. Your collection is stored locally on your device. By using the app you agree to these terms, but there's not much to agree to for basic browsing and collecting.

Photo submissions

When you submit a photo through the app or contributor portal:

• You grant us a licence. By submitting, you give LottaPaws permission to store, display, and use the image within the app and associated services. This includes thumbnails, the web catalogue, and occasionally promotional material like App Store screenshots or social posts showcasing the app.
• You confirm you have the right to submit it. This means you took the photo yourself, or have explicit permission from the person who did. Please don't submit images scraped from fan sites, official product photography, or other people's collections without their consent.
• We can remove submissions. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or replace any submitted image. For example, if it's low quality, doesn't show the item clearly, or raises a rights concern. This is part of our normal review process.

Contributor portal

If you contribute catalogue data through the contributor portal, such as adding sets, variants, or regional releases:

• Your contributions become part of the shared LottaPaws catalogue, available to all users of the app.
• You're confirming the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• We may edit, correct, or merge your contributions as part of keeping the catalogue consistent.
• You can ask us to remove a specific contribution by contacting [email protected]. We'll handle this on a case-by-case basis.

Public profiles and collection sharing

If you create a public profile or share a collection link, that page is accessible to anyone with the URL. You can delete or deactivate your public profile at any time from within the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what's stored and how.

Acceptable use

LottaPaws is a community tool built for collectors. Please don't:

• Automate requests to our API or scrape the catalogue at scale
• Submit false or deliberately inaccurate catalogue data
• Use the contributor portal to promote, advertise, or link to commercial listings
• Attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service

Service availability

LottaPaws is provided free of charge and as-is. We don't offer any warranty on uptime, catalogue accuracy, or continued availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We'll do our best to give notice if anything significant changes.

Age

LottaPaws is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before submitting photos or contributing to the catalogue.

Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll post a note in the app or on our Discord.
